Die Kampagne “Südtiroler Tests” wird in der kommenden Woche fortgesetzt. Bis Mittwoch besteht die Möglichkeit, sich bei teilnehmenden Ärzten und Apotheken auf das Virus testen zu lassen. Bei der Spermienkontrolle wurden am Wochenende 343.000 Menschen auf das Coronavirus getestet. Das sind mehr als 60 Prozent der Gesamtbevölkerung. Die norditalienische Provinz Südtirol führte am Wochenende nach dem Vorbild der Slowakei Korona-Massentests in der Bevölkerung durch. 343.000 Menschen nahmen daran teil – fast alle Bevölkerungsgruppen, die dazu in der Lage waren. Dank vieler Freiwilliger verlief der Prozess auch weitgehend reibungslos. Insgesamt wurden 0,9 Prozent der Teilnehmer positiv auf das Coronavirus getestet. Bei der Übermittlung der Testergebnisse gab es häufig Probleme, da die Teilnehmer die Formulare nicht vollständig ausgefüllt hatten. Die Server waren auch teilweise überlastet. Gouverneur Arno Kompatscher (SVP) freute sich über die Antwort: “Unsere optimistischen Erwartungen wurden übertroffen”, sagte er auf einer Pressekonferenz. Niemand kann die Kontrolle über den Infektionsprozess wiedererlangen, weil Südtirol “mit der normalen Kontaktverfolgung nicht mehr Schritt halten konnte”.

The “South Tyrol tests” campaign will continue in the coming week. Until Wednesday there is the possibility to get tested for the virus at participating doctors and pharmacies. In Sper control, 343,000 people were tested for the coronavirus over the weekend. That is more than 60 per cent of the total population. The northern Italian province of South Tyrol carried out corona mass tests in the population at the weekend, following the example of Slovakia. 343,000 people took part – almost all segments of the population that were calliper cent to do so. Thanks to many volunteers, the process also went largely smoothly. In total, 0.9 per cent of the participants tested positive for the coronavirus. There were often problems with the delivery of the test results because the participants had not filled out the forms completely. The servers were also partially overloaded. Governor Arno Kompatscher (SVP) was delighted with the response: “Our optimistic expectations were exceeded,” he said at a press conference. No one can regain control over the infection process because South Tyrol “could no longer keep up with normal contact tracing”.
