In der Sondersitzung zum Impfchaos der Regierung machte SPÖ-Chefin Dr. Pamela Rendi-Wagner klar, dass keine weiteren Pannen eintreten sollten. Die Regierung darf die Chance auf Normalität und Freiheit nicht verspielen. Das Koronavirus hat unsere Gesellschaft, unser Gesundheitssystem, die Wirtschaft und den Arbeitsmarkt seit elf Monaten fest im Griff. Und die Folgen dieser Jahrhundertpandemie in Österreich sind dramatisch: 6.819 Menschen sind an den Folgen von Corona gestorben – fast die Hälfte davon in Alters- und Pflegeheimen. “Weil es noch keine österreichweite Schutzstrategie gibt”, kritisierte Dr. Pamela Rendi-Wagner in der Sondersitzung zum Impfchaos der Regierung. Die wirtschaftlichen Folgen sind ebenfalls verheerend und nehmen täglich zu: Zehntausende Unternehmen sind mit den Ruinen ihrer Existenz konfrontiert, fast eine Million Menschen sind arbeitslos oder haben Kurzarbeit.
