Die britische Mutation musste auch im Bezirk St. Veit bestätigt werden. Die betroffene Person wurde vor einiger Zeit wegen Verdachts isoliert. Da der CT-Wert, d. H. Der Mann war der Ansprechpartner für einen Fall in einem anderen Bezirk. Der Kontakt wurde durch berufliche Tätigkeit hergestellt. Die Ergebnisse der Sequenzierung stehen derzeit in acht weiteren B.1.1.7-Verdachtsfällen noch aus. Die zuständigen Behörden haben eine priorisierte Kontaktverfolgung eingeleitet. Bisher musste die britische Mutation bei drei Personen in Kärnten nachgewiesen werden.

To date, the British mutation has had to be detected in three people in Carinthia.
