The Viennese police have banned almost all of the demonstrations:

Report: Muhammad Amir Siddique Vienna Austria.

There are a total of six rallies that have been banned by the executive. Two, including an Auto-Corso, are still being examined. The Viennese police have banned almost all of the demonstrations against the government’s corona measures registered for the weekend in Vienna. Among other things, a rally at Karlsplatz for up to 2,000 people was registered. An event was also announced on Heldenplatz, with up to 1,500 people. In addition, demonstrators wanted to march on the Ringstrasse. Among those rallies that were advertised by opponents of the government’s corona policy, the one for children’s rights is on the program on Saturday. It has been approved, but is only registered for 50 people. The reasons for the bans are now common. Either the organizers are well known for the fact that the specifications are not adhered to at their rallies or it is to be expected that the two-meter distance is not observed. Since it is not ruled out that people will gather despite the prohibitions, the police will, according to their own statements, be on site with “sufficient numbers”.
